This page covers differences of the Ashun Sound Machines Hydrasynth desktop version from the keyboard version.
Be sure to read the ASM Hydrasynth keyboard page, since almost all information about the keyboard version applies to the desktop version, with of course the real estate changes noted below taken into consideration. Important to note that the Hydrasynth keyboard version and its 8 voices will work together with the Hydrasynth desktop version and its 8 voices for a total of 16 voices in voice overflow mode.
Specific to desktop version
- Smaller and lighter
- 24 velocity sensitive with polyphonic aftertouch pads
- 3 Filter controls
- 4 Arpeggiator controls
- Octave up & down shift modes
- 1/4″ headphone output
- Recessed rear input/outputs and on/off button
- Rack ears included
All other functions are the same essentially.
